Itinerary

Arrival at Port Blair Airport and transfer to the hotel with our representative. After check-in and some rest, begin the tour with a visit to Corbyn’s Cove Beach, one of the most picturesque coconut palm-fringed beaches located about 7 km from Port Blair town. It is ideal for swimming and sun-basking. Later proceed for a Harbour Cruise to Viper Island by steamer across Port Blair Harbour, covering several small ports by boat. The gallows located on the hilltop at Viper Island is a historical sight to watch. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Port Blair.

After breakfast, begin the boat voyage to Ross Island, which was the former capital of Port Blair during the British regime. The island now contains ruins of old buildings such as the Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, and Swimming Pool. Later continue in the same boat to North Bay (Coral Island) where you can see coral reefs, colorful ornamental fish, and marine life through a glass-bottom boat ride. Optional activities include swimming and snorkeling. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Port Blair.

After breakfast, start the city tour of Port Blair visiting Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika), which displays the history, shells, corals, marine life, geography, and archaeology of the islands. Continue to Mini Zoo, Chatham Saw Mill (one of the oldest and largest wood mills in Asia), Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Science Centre, and Fisheries Museum (Aquarium) showcasing unique marine species. Later visit the historic Cellular Jail, a symbol of India’s freedom struggle. After sightseeing, proceed to Sagarika Emporium and the local market for shopping and souvenirs. In the evening, enjoy the famous Light & Sound Show at Cellular Jail, which narrates the heroic story of India’s freedom fighters. Overnight stay at the hotel/resort in Port Blair.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Port Blair Airport for your onward journey.
